Accounts Receivable Assistant

The Opportunity

We are looking for an outstanding individual to join our busy Finance team to assist with the day to day running of the accounts receivable function as well as supporting payroll processes and ad hoc requirements across the team.

Day to Day

  • Own the day to day running of the Accounts Receivable function, including but not limited to;
    • Preparation of sales invoices, liaising with the project office or customer success teams if needed.
    • Submission of invoices in line with customer requirements.
    • Management of the debtor’s ledger and credit control procedures, working with the customer success team as required.
    • Review status of inflight statements of work and change requests to ensure timely billing
    • Onboard customers and subsequent maintenance of accurate records, including our company profiles on customer billing platforms.
  • Payroll assistance as required:
    • Preparation and distribution of on call statements for a small team
    • Ensure salary sacrifice agreements are processed correctly.
  • Accounts Payable:
    • Assist as required processing on invoices.
    • Ensure receipts for company credit cards are collected in a timely manner.

About you

With some previous experience in a finance environment you are looking for a role that is varied with potential to take on more and for the role to adapt as your skillset grows.

Whilst you are studying towards your AAT qualifications or QBE, you are searching for a role to apply and develop the skills you have learnt.

You will be able to communicate well to internal and external stakeholders, adapting fluidly to different audiences, and will have the ability to adapt and stretch capabilities and skills to meet the business needs of a fast-growing technology firm.
