Global VP Sales

The Opportunity

In your role as Global VP Sales you will help us achieve our goals and deliver success on behalf of our customers by:

  • Leading our world class sales team in their quest to make the world a safer place to transact
  • Directly lead the regional VP’s of sales in LATAM, The USA, Europe and APAC assisting them with hiring and motivating their teams as well as territory planning, white space analysis, pricing and contractual negotiations
  • Constantly be on the lookout for new markets and opportunities to grow Featurespace’s revenue within our existing markets, mapping those markets, choosing target accounts and directing the sales team to win them
  • Represent the view of the market and the sales team to the CCO / Leadership Team as well as other teams who benefit from the information to be effective
  • Work closely with other functions within the commercial team such as Pre Sales, Bid Management, Sales Operations as well as closely aligned non commercial teams such as delivery, SMEs and product

This role is based from our London Office, with regional and international travel expected.

Day to Day

As a company we hire people with a willingness to adapt to a variable role, so along with the key responsibilities below, we ask for ownership of any other duties as required.

The primary responsibilities relate to increasing ARR and new logo growth by:

  • Hire, motivate and retain the best sales people in the world
  • Mentoring and training of salespeople and sales leaders, both designing the content and delivering it as well as working with other internal and external trainers where necessary
  • Run strategic conversations with reseller and product partners on joint go to market opportunities
  • Search out the biggest OEM opportunities for Featurespace globally
  • Own the global prospect list, which customers we are going after in which regions, ensuring delivery against this list
  • Work on strategic up sell opportunities inside our largest existing accounts
  • Own the new business forecast and work to improve forecast accuracy
  • Ensure use and accuracy of the company’s CRM system (
  • Lead or quarterback the most strategic pricing and contractual negotiations, giving guidance in second tier negotiations
  • Represent the view of the market to the leadership time, product team and other parts of the business for the purposes of ensuring our best-in-class products are solving our customers problems for now and the future

About you

Must haves:

  • Experience of leading a high performing sales team
  • Experience articulating complex software and or data science solutions
  • Experience selling on multiple continents
  • Proven track record of great customer outcomes (high NPS score companies, happy customers, happy delivery teams)
  • Is able to motivate a sales team in a positive manner (i.e. has run low churn/high retention sales environment)
  • Ability to forecast accurately and manage a CRM effectively
  • Ability to operate and communicate at C suite level

Great to haves:

  • Experience selling or leading teams selling AI / Machine Learning technology
  • Experience selling to top tier banks and FinTech
  • Experience in building OEM/White Label or ISV partnerships
