Graduate Marketing Executive

The Opportunity

As ourGraduate Marketing Executive your mission is to help position Featurespace as the most valued and respected enterprise fraud and financial crime prevention technology and generate high quality leads that become customers and advocates.

This exciting position will see you covering a number of initiatives to create and drive marketing strategies in-line with the business goals. 

This role is based in our Cambridge/London office, on a hybrid basis. So you will ideally be comfortable coming in at least twice a week. If you’re interested in the role but require more flexibility, please speak to us! 

The ideal candidate would be available to start as soon as possible, and work full time hours.

Day to Day

Your role: 

  • Support the team with the delivery of marketing campaigns
  • Working to personal targets that deliver on departmental objectives
  • Assist with a variety of daily tasks including website, social media, advertising, and procurement tasks
  • Manage and deliver projects within project deadlines

Your responsibilities:  

  • Content creation: Writing, repurposing, editing and ideating content for our website, social media and other channels. You won’t have to know it all, we have brilliant subject matter experts for that, but being a keen writer is definitely a plus
  • Email marketing: Manage copywriting, graphics, strategy and optimisation for our newsletters, product updates and other email communications
  • Social media: Work with Digital Marketing to manage and grow our social media presence 
  • Graphic design: You will be tasked with helping to create digital assets in line with brand guidelines that will be used in campaigns across all our marketing channels
  • Insight & Strategy: You will be expected to contribute to knowledge sharing by researching about our industry, writing thought pieces or attending conferences
  • Communications & PR: Support with the organization and coordination of PR activities, including media engagement, round tables, and press office responses
  • Content: Develop engaging social and digital content
  • Events and Presentations: Assist with key company, marketing, and sales events and presentations including compiling decks and general support for events
  • Website: SEO activities, UX optimisation. Work with Digital Marketing on improvements that reflect our brand identity
  • Relationship building: To collaborate with other departments to identify content worth sharing with our audience
  • Brand building: An understanding of and curiosity for brand building and positioning as well as knowledge of tracking and monitoring brands in the market

About you

Must haves:

  • A good understanding of the fundamentals of marketing and an eagerness to learn more and continue to evolve your knowledgebase
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas, both verbally and in writing to a high standard
  • Demonstrable enthusiasm for marketing in all its forms across different channels
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • Be a team player, collaborator
  • Demonstrates ability to be both strategic and tactical
  • Ability to manage and deliver within project deadlines
  • Comfortable working on their own, and as part of the team
  • Ability to craft and present a compelling narrative or story
  • Relevant academic qualification at degree level

Great to haves:

  • Spanish language proficient
  • Understanding of CRM and Marketing Automation tools, e.g., Salesforce and Pardot
  • Good technology and design skills including familiarity with Adobe software such as XD, InDesign, or Photoshop 
  • Experience of social media platforms – particularly LinkedIn and Twitter
