The Opportunity

As a Headhunter/Talent Sourcer at Featurespace you’ll help us achiever our goals and deliver success, working with a team who pride themselves on consistently delivering a first- class service to the business and a red-carpet experience to candidates. You will do this by:

  • Working with the Recruitment Manager to identify hard to fill, business critical roles and build strong talent pipelines to reach our recruitment targets.
  • Helping us build a strong employer brand and ensure we provide a positive candidate experience.

This role can be based in either our Cambridge or London office, with a willingness to travel to our Cambridge site when necessary.

Day to Day

You’ll play a key role in helping shape Featurespace’s future by collaborating with colleagues across the company to consistently identify and attract the best people.

As a company we hire people with a willingness to adapt to a variable role, so along with the key responsibilities below, we ask for ownership of any other duties as required.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers, taking in detailed briefs for each role
  • Advertise job openings on careers pages, job boards and social networks (e.g. LinkedIn)
  • Manage employee referral programs
  • Source candidates through online channels (e.g. LinkedIn and Cord)
  • Marketing mapping for competitors and relevant businesses
  • Build strong talent pipelines for all of your vacancies
  • Be the first point of contact, to screen candidates you have sourced directly and sell Featurespace
  • Report to hiring managers on the status of open positions you are sourcing for, providing detailed updates and solutions to difficult searches
  • Build a strong network of candidates for various roles across the business
  • Alongside the Recruitment Manager analyse cost of recruitment and set realistic goals on recruitment costs for each financial year
  • Manage candidate relationships through the full hiring process
  • Provide detailed interview feedback to candidates
  • Manage the offer process

The Team

You’ll be joining a small close-knit HR and Recruitment team, working closely with our Recruitment Coordinator, Brittanie Finnerty, Internal Recruiter, Lucy Neave, Recruitment Manager, Emma Bush, and our Head of HR & Recruitment, Rowan Link.

About you

  • Experience recruiting into the technology industry either as part of an in-house recruitment team or in agency
  • Excellent sourcing skills, via LinkedIn and other means
  • Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities, and be confident at prioritisation
  • Exceptional people skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail

Great to haves

  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and CV databases
  • Experience using various interview formats

Personal Qualities

As a Headhunter/Talent Sourcer, you also need the following qualities:
