Featurespace have a great new opportunity to join our Business Support team as an Office Manager supporting our Cambridge office. This role will be office based for 5 days a week.

In your role as Office Manager you will help us achieve our goals and deliver success on behalf of our customers by:

  • Enabling our people to perform the best they can and provide a first-class service

Day to Day

As a small company we hire people with a willingness to adapt to a variable role, so along with the key responsibilities below, we ask for ownership of any other duties as required.

  • Ensure the building promotes a positive and impressive visitor experience
  • Key contact for incoming phone enquiries and messages
  • Meeting room management
  • Arrange local/international collections/deliveries with couriers
  • Assisting in the onboarding process for new starters
  • Booking travel for staff – flights, hotel, transfers, taxis
  • Working with Facilities Manager and BPM to ensure that H&S policies and procedures are implemented and up to date
  • Monitoring and ordering equipment for the Business across different departments

Reception Management

  • Manage the guest checking in process (eg Swipedon)
  • Coordinating access control – activating and deactivating staff fobs and visitor fobs as required

Hospitality /Kitchen Maintenance

  • Sourcing and ordering lunches and drinks for the office
  • Ensuring the kitchen is fully stocked – weekly shop and half-weekly top-up

Working with the Business Support Team

  • Identify new goals and actions
  • Develop a quarterly comms piece from Business Support/Office Management newsletter
  • Assist in the coordination of office events – socials, customer events, individual team events and ad hoc events

About you

Must haves:

  • Experience in an administration/coordination role
