Martina is CEO of Featurespace and joined the company in 2012. Former Managing Director of augmented reality company Aurasma, Martina has an extensive career in media technology, including leadership roles at Yahoo! Europe and Capital Radio. Martina was named one of the Top 40 powerful women in tech by Silicon Republic.
Founder and Chief Technology Officer
Dave is Featurespace's Founder and CTO, responsible for working directly with our clients. Dave is an experienced technology innovator with over 18 years dedicated to the study of engineering. He has received several accolades in his field, including the ITC Enterprise Award for Young Entrepreneur. Under his leadership, Featurespace has progressed from a concept to a commercial success. Dave currently resides in the U.S. and is managing the Featurespace global expansion from Atlanta, Georgia.
Chief Commercial Officer
Matt is responsible for the commercial team at Featurespace. He is the former Global Head of Partnerships and Innovation at Aurasma, where he previously worked with Martina King (Featurespace CEO). While at Aurasma, Matt won DemoGod 2011 in Silicon Valley and gave the TED Talk on Augmented Reality on mobile which has had over 2.5 million views. Matt has an honours degree from the University of Durham in Software Engineering.
Chief Product Officer
Luke is responsible for Featurespace’s fraud clients in Financial Services and Insurance, and has over twenty years’ experience in banking fraud management. Prior to joining Featurespace, Luke held a position as Callcredit’s Commercial Director of Fraud and ID for a year, and prior to this he served in a variety of roles in Lloyds Banking Group (Head of Retail Audit, Head of Fraud, and Head of Group Security and Investigation). Before joining Lloyds Banking Group, Luke held fraud prevention roles at the UK Card Association (formerly APACS) and NatWest
Director of Engineering
Simon runs the engineering team at Featurespace, building and scaling the technology behind the ARIC platform. Simon studied Astrophysics at the University of Cambridge. Previous roles include working at Autonomy as a core product engineer, and as lead engineer at Taptu, running the team that built their award-winning news reader iOS, Android, and HTML5 apps and APIs.
Dr Karthik Tadinada
Director of Data Science
Karthik is responsible for working with Featurespace’s Financial Services and Insurance clients for analysis and modelling of their data. Karthik studied with Professor Fitzgerald (Featurespace founder) at Cambridge University Engineering Department’s Signal Processing Group. He has a first-class honours degree in Engineering and a PhD in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of Cambridge. Karthik’s previous roles include a stint as Junior Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, where his work included helping FTSE 100 companies in the financial, IT and mining sectors.
Chief Financial Officer
Jonathan leads Featurespace’s finance team and is responsible for financial reporting and investor relations. He works closely with the commercial and operational teams around all aspects of internal analysis and business planning. Prior to joining Featurespace, Jonathan worked in strategic consultancy and equity research, including several years as a senior technology analyst with Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Jonathan studied Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte.
Senior Financial Controller
Martin is Featurespace's Senior Financial Controller and Head of HR. A member of the Senior Management Team, Martin works closely with Featurespace's Board, management and commercial teams on all areas of financial reporting, pricing and contracts, as well as managing HR-related issues. Martin has over 20 years’ experience working in finance. Prior to working at Featurespace, Martin was the Financial Controller at Datanomic Ltd (later acquired by Oracle).
Chief Operating Officer
Ritz Steytler joined Featurespace as Chief Operating Officer in June 2017. He has over 25 years’ experience in technology-led transformation and growth of complex multinational businesses. Ritz spent the first part of his career as a systems integrator and consultant with Accenture and IBM, delivering transformation programmes for some of the biggest names in retail, telecommunications and financial services
Head of Marketing
Rebecca leads and delivers Featurespace’s marketing strategy and works closely with the commercial team on all aspects of communications, messaging, PR and events. Rebecca has over ten years' experience in strategic B2B and product marketing. Prior to joining Featurespace, Rebecca worked in technology product marketing, including several years at Redgate Software in Cambridge. Rebecca studied English Literature at the University of Cambridge and is a CIM qualified marketer.
