Financial Crime Expert, Araliya De Silva, appointed
Araliya De Silva, formerly of Deloitte and Ernst & Young, has joined Featurespace as a Financial Crime Subject Matter Expert.
Araliya joins Featurespace from Deloitte, bringing her substantial financial crime expertise to further enhancing Featurespace’s products for risk management and ensuring the product suite directly reflects customers’ needs for financial crime prevention.
At Deloitte, Araliya was a manager within the Financial Services Forensic Financial Crime department, working with a network of people across the firm in a range of financial crime risk areas. Prior to that, Araliya was part of Ernst & Young’s Compliance IT Advisory practice. Araliya has worked with multiple financial institutions in the UK and globally, providing expertise across all areas of Financial Crime with a focus on Transaction Monitoring. She kicked off her career at a multinational bank in France, project managing a major transaction monitoring migration programme within the Paris Retail Banking Compliance & Risk Management team.
Araliya brings a wealth of financial crime management experience and excellent client relationship skills. Having been involved in target operating model design and implementation, customer risk model design and development, data management methodology and AML review programmes, to name some, her industry experience and expert knowledge will be key in identifying customer needs and raising awareness around these specific topics. Working within Featurespace’s team of Subject Matter Experts, Araliya will ensure that customers feedback and needs in the fight against Financial Crimes directly enhance development of the ARIC™ platform.
