Payments Expert, Simon Rushforth, appointed
Simon Rushforth – formerly of Lebara, TUI Group and WorldPay – has joined Featurespace as Payments Subject Matter Expert.
Simon joins Featurespace with over 16 years’ experience in fraud operations and payments. Having worked in all elements of the payment chain – including merchants, acquirers, payments services providers and qualified security assessors – Simon has gained a wealth of knowledge in multi-channel fraud prevention, payments and credit risk, and payment security and compliance.
Previously a Senior Payments Manager at Lebara, Group Head of Card Payment Solutions and Director of TUI Travel Card Processing at TUI Group, and Product Development Manager at WorldPay, Simon also served as a peer-elected member of the Merchant Risk Council’s European Advisory Board, where he defined strategy and provided industry insight.
At Featurespace, Simon will further strengthen the financial services product team and ensure that the development of our ARIC™ platform matches our customers’ needs and expectations for fraud prevention in financial services.
Martina King, Featurespace CEO, commented:
“Simon’s extensive operator-side experience will be crucial in providing industry insight. Featurespace’s customers value our knowledge of the fraud and risk challenges they encounter daily, and Simon will ensure we stay at the top of our game. We are delighted to welcome him to the team.”
Simon Rushforth, Payments Subject Matter Expert, commented:
“During my 16 years in the Fraud and Payments industry I have come across many fraud prevention tools that rely on rules which quickly become outdated and unwieldy in their management overhead. The Adaptive Behavioural Analytics platform which has been developed by Featurespace is a game-changer as it allows businesses to focus on their good customers while systematically rooting out the bad. This excited me before I joined and now that I’m part of the team I am amazed by the talent, opportunities and future of this organisation.”
