Product Manager

The Opportunity

As our Product Manager, you will contribute to Featurespace’s continued successes by taking ownership of product delivery and ensuring future revenue growth in-line with the delivery of our Strategic Operating Plan. Additionally, you will provide a secure, resilient, scalable, and performant service to our customers, by overseeing the alignment of the product and technical roadmaps towards a target state.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Product team and represent the voice of the customer within this team, whilst also ensuring the operations processes provide best-in-class customer experience.

This role will be a hybrid role based in either the Cambridge or London office. Ideally you will be comfortable coming into either office once or twice a week. If you’re interested in the role but require more flexibility, please speak to us!

Day to Day

  • Analyse customer, internal needs, and market trends to establish feature priority
  • Work across the Product, Analytic, and Technology organisation to deliver our Machine Learning strategy
  • Deliver road map on-time and on-budget, ensuring the roadmaps offer differentiation within the market and drives revenue growth
  • Work with the internal team to establish a roadmap of features, models, and products
  • Assess against competitors, in terms of pricing, innovation, functionality, and user experience
  • Work with Product Owners to maintain and plan the product backlog to ensure expectations and communicate vision, priorities, and progress
  • Oversee the alignment of the product and technical roadmaps towards a target state
  • Help identify and manage operational risks affecting the business and implement appropriate alerting/escalation
  • Design and adapt the operations processes to provide a best-in-class customer experience (measured by NPS) whilst considering cost/value options
  • Act as an evangelist in the market to promote Featurespace’s propositions. In addition (where required) act as a Product Expert supporting our GTM activities

About you

Must haves:

  • Product Management experience, demonstrable example of owning roadmap and delivery
  • Experience in machine learning or AI
  • Ability to think creatively, and to drive products and services forward with concepts and ideas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively convey ideas, priorities, and product vision to diverse audiences including stakeholders, development teams, and customers
  • Experience of working with SaaS solutions
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • A strong understanding of basic UX approaches
  • Understand, and be able to communicate, technical trade-offs, making sure all stakeholders are on board
  • Knowledge of product life cycles, from conception through to end-of-life

Great to haves:

  • Experience of releasing a new product to market
  • Understanding of Fraud and AML market
  • Awareness of development frameworks
  • Proficiency in agile and scrum methodologies, with a deep understanding of how to effectively apply these principles in a software development environment
  • Experience working with teams in multiple locations
  • Have exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Be a creative thinker, always thinking “how can we”
