Featurespace invented Adaptive Behavioral Analytics, Automated Deep Behavioral Networks and ARIC Risk Hub, the most powerful and open technology to combat fraud and financial crime.
With the support of our customers, we have developed market-leading solutions to fight enterprise fraud and financial crime – using real-time machine learning software powered by our invention – Adaptive Behavioral Analytics.
Our technology and results are recognized as the best worldwide for fighting enterprise fraud and financial crime. With our scientific roots, we couldn’t make that claim if it had not been statistically verified – over and over again.
Our achievements are due to our collaborative approach and ability to attract and retain the best customers, talent and investors. It’s a rare achievement to bring a new technology to market, to achieve financial success and – most importantly of all – to make customers proud to be using technology developed to outsmart the perpetrators of real-time enterprise fraud and financial crime.
Featurespace was created by a Cambridge University Professor, Bill Fitzgerald, and his PhD student, Dave Excell, at the forefront of two academic fields: Data Science and Computer Science.
Teaching machines to act and to think like humans is an exciting recent breakthrough in these fields. Featurespace’s Adaptive Behavioral Analytics technology, invented by Bill and Dave, first left the Cambridge University Engineering Department in 2008, when Betfair asked Featurespace to build the first system to outwit fraud attacks by thinking like each one of their customers.
Featurespace built the world’s first Adaptive Behavioral Analytics engine – the ARIC Risk Hub– to solve this commercial challenge.
The ARIC Risk Hub leverages machine learning to enable fraud and Anti-Money Laundering analysts to prioritize alerts and detect suspicious activity in real-time, with explainable anomaly detection.
Using the power of Featurespace’s invention – award-winning Adaptive Behavioral Analytics – risk teams across the world have never been better placed to fight financial crime.
