PaymentsSource has recognized Featurespace’s Araliya Sammé among the honorees for its Most Influential Women in Payments: Next program, which showcases highly-accomplished individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership and initiate meaningful change within their organizations. See Araliya’s profile here.

As Head of Financial Crime at Featurespace, Sammé led the commercial launch of the company’s award-winning Enterprise Financial Crime prevention technology – the ARIC™ Risk Hub – to the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) market, which has traditionally been underserved. In the time since, Featurespace has been selected by prominent financial services organizations for AML, including HSBC, ClearBank and CSI (in March, HSBC received Celent’s Model Risk Manager Award for its innovation in transaction monitoring, enabled by ARIC).

“Araliya’s passion and intuition not only drive her success, they drive the company’s success,” said Matt Mills, Chief Commercial Officer at Featurespace. “Whether it’s a leadership team discussion, a sales meeting or even a technical discussion about Featurespace solutions, she uses her vast knowledge and expertise to appropriately adapt to the situation and audience.”

The program’s honorees will be celebrated during American Banker’s NEXT 2021 conference, May 18-20, which will gather current and future change-makers to examine models of leadership and the most pressing issues facing industry executives, with a focus on women leaders in financial services.
